SQL Server - Articles Tutorials and Advice
GRE Solutions limited is an IT Services company specialising in database administration on the SQL Server platform. www.gre-sqlserver-solutions.com is our company website and represents our presence on the internet. The website serves two main functions:
- Promote our SQL Server outsourcing and in-house IT services (DBA Services)
- To provide a free resource for all SQL Server users, whether you’re a small business using SQL Server to house your companies databases through to the DBA professional working in a large multinational organisation this site should have something to offer you. I hope that this site will provide you with the information and skills you need to manage your SQL Server environment.
SQL Server is Microsoft’s enterprise level relational database management system that in recent times has become a rival to the major players in the database market such as Oracle and DB2.
The team here at GRE Solutions, although quite small has many years of database experience behind them and can provide you with a range of services to help support your mission critical databases. See our
DBA Services section for more information or contact us directly to discuss your requirements… we’ll be happy to help.
We also want to offer a resource to all SQL Server users and professionals who don’t necessarily need our DBA Services but instead want good sound articles and tutorials that will allow you to learn some new skills. SQL Server is a vast subject and although you may specialise in one area, you may be lacking in another and hopefully you will find something to help improve your skills on this website. The articles are written by our consultants and database professionals specialising in SQL Server with many years expereince dating back to SQL Server 6 through to SQL Server 2008 which is due for release in Febuary.
